Church Purpose

The purpose statement for LifePointe Church is:

“To make disciples of Jesus Christ who will impact our community for the glory of God.”

Our understanding of the church is based upon the Great Commission and the early church we find in the book of Acts. In the Great Commission, Jesus tells us to “make disciples.” The book of Acts gives us a running account of the Great Commission enacted. As disciples were made they impacted their local communities and God was glorified.

That is our purpose, to continue what was started with the early church: making disciples, impacting our community, and bringing glory to God.
